The brilliant bowling performance of Pakistani leg spinner Yasir Shah brought Pakistan back in the contest once again dismantling Sri Lankan batting line up. Yasir Shah sent 5 Lankan batsmen back to pavilion in his superb bowling spell.

Thirmane was first one to go, he got a flighted delivery and deceived of bounce and spin. Thirmane stretched out to play with straight bat, ball did the trick and swings away hitting the inner edge of the bat. The ball ended up in hands of Azhar Ali who initially fumbled but got hold of the ball eventually.

A quick and straight delivery passed through the defences of Chandimal who tried to play it using his feet but could only manage to get his stumps broken.

Vithange was third prey of Yasir, who went to play a reverse sweep without having any idea of swing and he completely missed the ball that hit the stumps.

Next Sri Lankan wicket went down when a quick and straight delivery from Yasir Shah hitting the pads of Sri Lankan skipper Mathews. The ball kept a little low and didn't spun much that probably deceived Mathews who straight away went for a review but of no vail, third umpire upheld the decision of field umpire.
