کا عالمی مقابلہ اپنے نام کرلیا۔پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی
آر) کے مطابق پاک آرمی کی ٹیم نے تمام انفرادی اور ٹیم ایونٹس میں پہلی
پوزیشن حاصل کی۔پاک فوج کے نائیک ارشد مقابلے کے بہترین اسنائپر قرار
پائے۔
بین الاقوامی اسنائپنگ مقابلہ چین کے دارالحکومت بیجنگ میں ہوا، جس
میں 14 ممالک کی 21 ٹیموں نے حصہ لیا۔یاد رہے کہ رواں سال جولائی میں پاک
فضائیہ کے سی 130 ہرکولس ٹرانسپورٹ ایئرکرافٹ نے برطانیہ میں ہونے والے
’رائل انٹرنیشنل ایئر ٹیٹو شو‘ میں فتح حاصل کی تھی۔برطانیہ کے رائل ایئر
فورس بیس فیئر فورڈ میں ہونے والے شو میں 50 ممالک کے 200 سے زائد طیاروں
نے حصہ لیا، جس میں پاکستان کی نمائندگی سی 130 طیارے نے کی، جہاں پاک
فضائیہ نے یہ منفرد اعزاز حاصل کیا۔گزشتہ سال پاک فوج کی ٹیم نے برطانوی
آرمی کے ’ایکسرسائز کیمبرائن پٹرول‘ ایونٹ میں بھی تقریباً 140 ٹیموں کو
پیچھے چھوڑتے ہوئے سونے کا تمغہ حاصل کیا تھا۔
امریکا، اسرائیل ساتھ دے تو آئی ایس آئی اور پاکستانی فوج سے خود لڑنے کے لیے جاوٴں گا الطاف حسین کے ایک اور ویڈیو بیان نے تہلکہ مچا دیا

رابطہ کمیٹی نے الطاف حسین کے امریکا میں کارکنان سے حالیہ خطاب میں
اسرائیل سے مدد مانگنے اور پاک فوج سے لڑنے کے بیان سے بھی اعلان لاتعلقی
کر دیا۔ایم کیو ایم رابطہ کمیٹی کے ڈپٹی کنوینئر فاروق ستار اور نسرین جلیل
کے ہمراہ پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے سینئر رہنما عامر خان کا کہنا تھا کہ
سوشل میڈیا پر الطاف حسین کے آڈیو کلپس چل رہے ہیں، یہ تقریر کراچی میں
کارکنان سے کیے گئے خطاب سے ملتی جلتی ہے۔
عامر خان نے مزید کہا کہ کراچی میں کی گئی تقریر سے ایم کیو ایم نے اعلان لا تعلقی کیا تھا، اسی طرح امریکا میں کی گئی تقریر سے بھی رابطہ کمیٹی پاکستان اعلان لاتعلقی کرتی ہے۔اس نئے آڈیو کلپ کے حوالے سے متحدہ قومی موومنٹ کے سینئر رہنما عامرخان نے پریس کانفرنس میں مزید کہا کہ الطاف حسین کی یہ تقریر بھی 2 روز پرانی ہی ہے، امید ہے اب ایسی کوئی تقریر اور بات نہیں ہوگی، انہوں نے کہا کہ ایم کیو ایم کراچی کی رابطہ کمیٹی الطاف حسین کے امریکا میں کارکنوں سے خطاب کے بیان سے بھی اعلان لاتعلقی کرتی ہے۔عامر خان نے کہا کہ ایم کیو ایم کا اس بیان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں جبکہ پارٹی اس بیان کی مذمت کرتی ہے۔واضح رہے کہ سوشل میڈیا پر زیر گردش آڈیو کلپ میں مبینہ طور پر الطاف حسین نے کہا ہے کہ ‘امریکا، اسرائیل ساتھ دے تو داعش، القاعدہ اور طالبان پیدا کرنے والی آئی ایس آئی اور پاکستانی فوج سے خود لڑنے کے لیے جاوٴں گا۔الطاف حسین نے امریکا اور برطانیہ میں مقیم کارکنان کو ہدایت کی کہ ہر کسی سے مدد مانگی جائے، اسرائیل، ایران، افغانستان، ہندوستان سے بات کی جائے کہ وہ ہماری مدد کریں۔
برطانیہ میں مقیم متحدہ قومی موومنٹ کے قائد کا یہ بھی کہنا تھا کہ ‘ہم سے غلطی اور گناہ ہوگیا، اے ہندووٴں! ہم اس سازش کو نہیں سمجھے جو انگریز نے بنائی تھی، ہم اس کا حصہ بن گئے اور جو اس کا حصہ نہیں بنے وہ عیش کر رہے ہیں۔الطاف حسین نے ایم کیو ایم رابطہ کمیٹی کے کنوینئر ڈاکٹر ندیم نصرت پر بھی زور دیا کہ وہ ’کھل کر بولیں‘۔اس موقع پر وہاں موجود افراد الطاف حسین کی تائید کرتے ہوئے یہ کہتے ہوئے سنائی دیئے کہ پاکستان کا تقسیم در تقسیم ہونا لکھ دیا گیا ہے،
اس دوران انھوں نے ‘لے کر رہیں گے
آزادی کے نعرے بھی لگائے۔خیال رہے کہ 22 اگست کو بھی الطاف حسین نے کراچی
میں پریس کلب کے باہر ایم کیو ایم کے بھوک ہڑتالی کیمپ سے خطاب کیا تھا جس
میں انہوں نے پاکستان مخالف نعرے لگوائے تھے جبکہ کارکنان کو مختلف ٹی وی
چینلز پر حملوں کے لیے اکسایا تھا۔الطاف حسین کے اس خطاب کے بعد ایم کیو
ایم کے رہنماوں کی گرفتاریاں شروع ہوگئی تھیں جبکہ ایک روز بعد ہی کراچی
میں موجود رابطہ کمیٹی کے فیصلے سے فاروق ستار نے الطاف حسین کے پاکستان
مخالف بیان سے اعلان لاتعلقی کردیا اور ایم کیو ایم کو پاکستان سے چلانے کے
فیصلے کا اعلان کیا۔

Modi’s speech proves RAW’s meddling in Balochistan, says Aziz

Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Monday
said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to divert global
attention from the tragedy in India-held Kashmir.
“Modi was only
trying to divert world attention from the grim tragedy that has been
unfolding in Indian-occupied Kashmir over the past five weeks,” said
Aziz, referring to Modi’s comments.
Modi, on the occasion of
India’s 70th Independence Day, said in his address to the nation that
people of Balochistan, Gilgit and Azad Kashmir had thanked him and he
was grateful to them.
Modi’s criticism of Pakistan, while
avoiding direct mention of month-long protests in India-held Kashmir,
was the only time the Indian premier focused on foreign policy in his
Independence Day speech which he delivered from the ramparts of the Red
Fort in Delhi.
Aziz said that thousands of unarmed youth are protesting every day for their right to self determination.
“More
than 70 innocent Kashmiris have been killed and more than 6,000 have
been injured. There is persistent curfew and a complete media blackout,”
said the adviser, shedding light on conditions in Indian Occupied
Kashmir.
Aziz reiterated that the Kashmiris’ struggle is an
indigenous movement for self determination which was “promised to the
Kashmiris by the UN Security Council”.
“At this time, the contrast between Indian Occupied Kashmir and Azad Kashmir could not be starker.”
Referring
to Modi’s comments made earlier in the day, the adviser said that
Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and Modi’s comments only
prove Pakistan’s contention that India, through the Research and
Analysis Wing (RAW), has been fomenting terrorism in Balochistan.
“This
was also confirmed by the public confession of RAW’s serving naval
officer Kulbhushan Jadhav in March this year,” added Aziz.
Taking
a swipe at India, Aziz said India is a large country and this must be
acknowledged, but having a large country does not translate into having a
great country.
“A country which unleashes such brute force
against innocent citizens to suppress their right to protest or use
pellet guns to rob the eye sight of over 100 youths is not a great
country,” said the foreign affairs adviser.
Aziz further added
that India must recognise the core issue of Kashmir which cannot be
solved through bullets, but requires a political solution.
Earlier
on Monday, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry invited his Indian
counterpart S Jaishankar to Pakistan for dialogue on the Kashmir
dispute, the Foreign Office (FO) said.
Aizaz called on the Indian
High Commissioner to Islamabad and handed over a letter addressed to
Jaishankar highlighting the international obligations of Pakistan and
India with regards to resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with
the United Nations Security Council resolutions, said FO spokesman
Nafees Zakaria.
The move comes as relations between Pakistan and
India remain strained a day after ceasefire violations along the Line of
Control on Aug 14, and Pakistan’s High Commissioner to New Delhi Abdul
Basit’s comments dedicating Independence Day to the freedom of
Kashmiris.
Tensions between Pakistan and India have been running
high since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani
sparked anti-government protests in India-held Kashmir, with over 70
people dead in clashes between protesters and Indian authorities.

Islamabad/SRINAGAR - Pakistan yesterday formally invited India for
talks over the Kashmir dispute as the occupant forces in the held
territory have crossed all limits of human rights violations.
At least nine people were killed Monday in fierce clashes between
protesters and Indian troops across the Kashmir valley on Indian
Independence Day despite the authorities imposing a round-the-clock
curfew and snapping of mobile and internet services.
Dozens of civilians, mostly young men, have been killed in clashes
between protesters and security forces, and thousands more injured in
the region’s worst violence since 2010.
Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world
observed India’s Independence Day as Black Day to convey the message to
the world that India has illegally occupied their homeland.
Root of conflicts
Pakistan yesterday said that the Kashmir issue was the root of the
conflicts present between the two neighbours and emphasised upon seeking
the solution of the issue through meaningful and purposeful dialogue.
Foreign Affairs Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry invited his Indian
counterpart S Jaishankar to Islamabad for a ‘meaningful dialogue over
the Kashmir issue’ at a meeting with Indian High Commissioner in
Pakistan Gautam Bambawale here.
Chaudhry, in a letter handed over to Indian HC, reminded Indian
Foreign Affairs secretary that tracing out the solution of Kashmir issue
was obligation of both countries according to the resolutions of the
UN.
Unfinished agenda
Almost simultaneously, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called Kashmir an
unfinished agenda of the United Nations. In a meeting here with PML-N
presidential candidate for AJK Masood Khan, PM Sharif said the UN must
intervene to resolve this issue.
LoC violations
Officials said the foreign secretary in his meeting with Indian HC
also asked him to convey Pak concerns over the LoC ceasefire violations
by India.
Indian forces resorted to firing near Rawalkot’s Neza Pir sector over the weekend, prompting response from Pak troops.
Black Day
Indian Independence Day was observed as Black Day on both sides of
LoC by holding pro-freedom and anti-India rallies and protests.
Despite curfew and other restrictions, the people of IHK marked the day with protest demonstrations, KMS reported.
There was complete strike in the territory, call for which had been
jointly given by the Hurriyet leaders Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar
Farooq, Yasin Malik and others. All markets were shut and roads wore a
deserted look.
The authorities had converted the entire territory into a garrison.
Srinagar city, where the main function of India’s Independence Day was
held amid the multi-tier security cover, remained reduced to a ghost
town.
Ex-FM opposes Modi
Former foreign minister and Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid on
Monday disagreed with PM Narendra Modi’s point of view on Balochistan,
advising him to not interfere in Pakistan’s internal matters.
Khurshid said Balochistan is different from any part of Azad Jammu
and Kashmir and India’s right and entitlement was limited to Kashmir.

The ex-husband of a British beautician who was forced to marry him has allegedly confessed to throttling her with a scarf, police sources in Pakistan said today.
Samia
Shahid, 28, from Bradford, suffered a 7.5ins gash to her neck in her
ancestral Punjab village, but her family insisted she died of a heart
attack last month.
Her
first husband from an arranged marriage, cousin Mohammed Shakil, has
been arrested on suspicion of murder and has now allegedly admitted he
strangled her, the BBC has said.
Ms
Shahid's father Mohammad Shahid, is now being held as an accessory to
murder. Both men appeared in court in Pakistan on Saturday.

Ms Shahid was allegedly hunted by her family since 2014 after she ran away from the cousin she had been forced to marry.

Her second husband Syed Mukhtar Kazam believes she was killed because of her marriage to him in an 'honour killing'.
He says she was lured to Pakistan by false claims her father was ill and murdered in her bed.
Her family said she died of a heart attack or a severe asthma attack and had her buried.
Abu
Bakar Khuda Bux, the investigator heading the team, said today the
woman's father, Mohammad Shahid, and her former husband, Mohammad
Shakeel, were prime suspects in the case.
The two were formally arrested over the weekend, although the police have been questioning them for several days, Bux said.
'All
the evidence we have is leading to their involvement in the murder,' he
said. 'We are collecting more evidence before we sent the case to
court.'
According to two
police officers, the ex-husband has confessed to the killing and has
described to his interrogators how he used his ex-wife's scarf to
strangle her.
The
officers, who are involved in the probe, spoke on condition of anonymity
because they were not authorized to discuss the details with the media
before the case goes to court.
Bux declined to comment on the purported confessions, saying the investigation is not yet finished.

The beautician, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, also has saliva and blood oozing from her mouth and nostrils.
Mr
Kazam, 30, told MailOnline: 'I am releasing this picture of my wife's
dead body because I want the world to know that she didn't die of
natural causes. She was murdered.
'The police told the media and everybody here that the body did not have any visible marks on it.
'Well,
this proves that it did. What sort of heart attack leaves a bruise like
that? It is obviously murder. Her family killed her because they
weren't happy that she had married me.'
Police said the latest forensic report had confirmed Shahid did not die of natural causes.
Initially police had said there was no sign of foul play and allowed her to be buried in a Punjabi graveyard.
The
post mortem report said Ms Shahid suffered 'marks of violence' in the
form of a 'reddish brown bruise' around her throat and was found dead
with 'froth coming from her mouth'.
Samia
was forced into hiding with second husband Syed Mukhtar Kazam - who
insists she was murdered by her family because they disapproved of their
union.
Islamic scholar
Syed Sibtain Kazmi says he recorded threats from Samia's family as he
refused to say where they were - and then gave them to the police.

Shia mosque in Bradford for advice about to how to divorce Mohammed
Shakeel.

He told the BBC:
'She told me under oath that her first marriage was a forced marriage,
which happened without her free will as she was pressurised into the
marriage by her family'.
Mr
Kazmi said that when relatives found out he would help dissolve her
first marriage and help with a second they said they would harm him, he
claims.

He was allegedly
told by one relative: 'Our daughter is missing from home and you know
where she is. The issue will be resolved but you will have to pay a high
price for your role'.
He said: 'I recorded all these threats and handed them over to police without any delay'.
